(EVOH - Ethylene-Vinyl Alcohol Copolymer) is an environmentally friendly, yet extremely flexible resin that allows for broad ranging modification of its properties to meet your own application's specific functional needs.
Soarnol's components are Carbon, Oxygen and Hydrogen. Therefore, there is no toxic gas emission when burned, and the combustion heat is only half that of polyethylene, causing little harm to the environment. Soarnol maintains the high degree of transparency often desired of typical PVOH compounds, while greatly enhancing extrudability and water resistance.
Typical barrier resistance properties are also enhanced, including weather resistance properties and high gas barrier properties, allowing for a broad range of specialized applications from construction to fresh food packaging.

Soarnol can also be manufactured with a much wider range of OTR (Oxygen Transmission Rate) than other similar products, while maintaining all of the desired barrier properties needed to suit your particular, specialized application. And, Soarnol is an extremely effective means of preventing the atmospheric dispersion of damaging CFCs into our environment.
